The bass is a fairly common species of fish that can be found in all types of water but there are certain areas when they grow and thrive much better than others. For those of you who don”t live in an area where the bass grow large enough to be consider a trophy fish, you may be wondering where you can go to find those trophy bass. Texas Trophy Bass Fishing

So where can you find the top trophy bass fishing lakes? Bass fishing is great in many areas but some of the top lakes for catching trophy bass are located in Texas. A few of the most well-known lakes are listed below.

Lake Fork is well-known as being one of the top trophy bass fishing lakes in the nation and anglers travel from all over to try their hand at reeling in a big one.

Toledo Bend Reservoir can be found along the Texas and Louisiana border. The large number of trophy bass found in this lake has made it very popular with anglers everywhere.

Lake Sam Rayburn, sometimes known as “Big Sam”, has made a name for itself throughout the years as being one of the best places to catch some of the biggest bass around.

Lake Amistad can be found in a remote location between the United States and Mexico near the town of Del Rio. It has the prefect environment for trophy bass to grow and thrive.

It would be safe to say that most all the lakes found in Texas have the potential to be the home of a trophy bass but the ones listed above are the lakes that are the most well-known by more anglers. These lakes have received a reputation through the years for being the best when you”re seeking out a trophy bass.

Florida Trophy Bass Fishing

Florida is another area where there are many lakes containing trophy bass. There are many remote locations where the fishing is fantastic but one of the best known locations for trophy bass is the Kissimmee Chain, which can be found located just south of Orlando. The Kissimmee Chain includes Lake Kissimmee itself and there are many large trophy bass located throughout this lake. Many anglers visit this area just for the great fishing.
